At the June meeting, the Administrative Board unanimously approved a recommendation from the Personnel Committee to contract with Jaime Poole, President of JP Consulting, Inc. for the financial administration duties for both Tabernacle and the Child Care Center, beginning July 1 through December 31, 2020. The month of July will serve as an overlap with Hope Cutchins, before she transitions from her role as our current Financial Assistant to begin grad school at Georgetown.
JP Consulting, Inc., is a financial services consulting company established in 2006. Jaime has 14 prior years of banking experience in a variety of roles including departmental and staff management. Her focus areas include project management, bookkeeping services, and marketing. She possesses expert level knowledge of accounting software.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jaime uses her financial knowledge to give back to her community by serving as Treasurer and Chair of the finance committee at her church. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
We are so very grateful to Hope Cutchins who has stepped into the role of Financial Assistant for these past eight months. Hope is leaving the position of Financial Assistant at the end of July to pursue her Masters in International Development Policy at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Hope will continue in her position as Communications Coordinator, working remotely, through the remainder of 2020. We are grateful for her leadership and service to Tabernacle and TCCC this past year, and the many hats she has worn, and excited we get to remain connected in the coming months.
