The congregation approved funding for a new staff position for 2015 and the Deacon Board has approved the job attached description. The congregation will be asked to vote to approve the job description on January 4. Ideally, the Minister of Spiritual Formation, a 15 hour per week position, will begin in February 2015. The hourly position pays $20 per hour but cannot exceed the allotted $16,000 for the year of service. We are anticipating an internal hire. However, we are open to receiving resumes outside of the immediate church family. A Deacon sub-committee hopes to present a candidate for the Minister of Spiritual Formation for a vote at the January 25 Business Meeting.
