<description>We strive to be a congregation rooted deeply in the participatory worship of God, where intergenerational relationships are nurtured and all persons are encouraged to share their stories through creative and meaningful expression.

It is not uncommon for multiple persons, children and adults alike, to facilitate and lead worship through the gifts of music, proclamation, and written word. This experiential approach continually reveals the blessing of a diverse family and offers a level of depth which honors our God-given intellect and curiosity.</description>

The promise Jesus makes to the Disciples before his Ascension (Acts 1) comes to fruition as the Gospel reaches Samaria. nbsp; Some will suggest that Philip is watering down the Gospel in his willingness to baptize the Eunuch. nbsp;Rev. Sterling Severns' sermon argues that the opposite is true. The Spirit pushes us beyond our comfort where we inevitably find God's spirt moving in unexpected ways. The water we find outside of Jerusalem has been provided to bring all persons, even "Samaritans", into the life of the Christian Community. Special music is provided by a flute trio, two of our teenagers, and a ladies ensemble. Rev. Eric Hasha leads us in communion.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>We strive to be a congregation rooted deeply in the participatory worship of God, where intergenerational relationships are nurtured and all persons are encouraged to share their stories through creative and meaningful expression.

It is not uncommon for multiple persons, children and adults alike, to facilitate and lead worship through the gifts of music, proclamation, and written word. This experiential approach continually reveals the blessing of a diverse family and offers a level of depth which honors our God-given intellect and curiosity.</itunes:summary>
